No Man's Sky Early Owner Complains About Bugs & Frequent Crashes on PS4, Recommends to Salvage a Lot

With the release of No Homo's Sky at present only ten days abroad, the hype exploded around a few gamers who were able to get their hands on the title way earlier the scheduled commercial launch.

I such gamer is Reddit userdaymeeuhn, who reported his impressions about the game after playing xx/thirty hours and reaching the center of the galaxy. Unfortunately, he mentioned that No Man'due south Sky crashed often on his PlayStation 4 and the game is also currently affected by quite a few bugs.

I've had the game full on crash to PS4 menu something like 20 times at present. Commonly when I'm warp jumping. No joke. Salvage your game a lot kids, you'll be pissed if you don't.

There are bugs. Quite a few in fact. In some moments I actually start to feel equally if this game would take benefited from a beta examination. PRAY for a Day ane patch, not only to nerf the auction cost of Atlas Stones but likewise to address some of this shit besides:
- Currently, Axle Upgrades for your multi tool seem cleaved and ass backwards. Upgrades that are supposed to slow downwardly the oestrus up of your beam, actually speed information technology up. Upgrades that are supposed to speed up the mining speed of the beam, actually irksome information technology down. Essentially, your STARTING beam is equally powerful as it can be, and if you lot upgrade it with +i +ii +3 beam upgrade modules it becomes UNUSABLE. This would, in theory, mean that the fully upgraded beam is really the beam you're supposed to Outset with, which would mean my early exploration would accept gone a LOT slower.
- Sea creatures spawn in shallow water completely vertical stuck in the ground. This isn't similar a one fourth dimension bug thing either, 80% of the large sea creatures have spawned this way, which is a super bummer for me because sea creatures are my favorite and I can't even appropriately scan them or fifty-fifty naked eye view them when this happens.
- Again, not finding ship upgrades has been super frustrating. Is information technology a bug? Is the game not spawning better send module inventories like it's supposed to? Are we really just supposed to take ships with ane/4th the total inventory of our suit? What gives HG, c'monday.

  • Here's a HUGE gripe for me at the moment. I'1000 going to list some bugs at the bottom and I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, only holy shit has this been annoying. I've "upgraded" my suit to unlock all available inventory slots possible. I've institute and bought what I "think" is a multi tool with the maximum amount of slots bachelor in the game. Notwithstanding, ships HAVE NOT IMPROVED AT ALL throughout the entire course of the game. This is not a joke. I am at the signal now where my PERSONAL SUIT has something like 3-4x the total inventory / module slots as my ship. That seems incorrect to me.

Information technology'southward not all doom and gloom, anyway. He said that and so far, he never found a planet that looked even remotely the same every bit one previously visited, which seems to indicate that the developers used a lot of variables in their procedural generation. As a outcome, each planet is refreshing to visit.

The environmental sounds are described every bit fantastic and very immersive, while gameplay is very smooth. Even space flight betwixt planets is apparently a happy medium between too long and besides curt, feeling only almost right in his opinion.

Of course, these are just personal impressions from a single gamer. The bugs and crashes, all the same, are a scrap worrying considering how close the release is: hopefully Hullo Games will be able to fix at least some of that with a Day One update.

No Man'south Heaven launches for PlayStation four and PC on August 9 (North America) and ten (Europe).
